When the Deadshift Protocol failed, it fractured reality. The experiment meant to create safe time travel torn open a rift in the fabric of existence, collapsing past and present into a single decaying world. In chaos, the dead began to rise not as ghosts, but as echoes of lives already lived, trapped between timelines.

You play as Ash, a former courier turned unwilling survivor. Marked by the blast and tethered to a prototype chrono watch, Ash now drifts between timelines one foot in the present, the other in a collapsing past.

But every shift comes at a cost. His body decays. His memories glitch. And somewhere, buried deep in the ruins of the old city, lies the heart of the Protocol, the only thing that might fix what’s been broken... or erase what's left of him for good.

With zombies closing in and time working against him, Ash must battle through infected sectors, corrupted trains, collapsing labs, and the towering Spire itself all before the next shift becomes his last.
